Ω Unitary Dust Collector

Our Dust Collector is designed to maximize dust collection and the life of collector components for years of extended service.
A self-contained collector with everything needed to begin collecting dust, the Dust collector comes, complete with fan and fan motor, automatic bag cleaning system, and system controller making installation quick and easy. Since the automatic shaker cleans the bag filters, there is no need for expensive compressed air. Ideal for intermittent operations in plant processes, the Dust collector can be used as a central system or at the point of dust generation.

  • Compact Design
Minimizes floor space and fits in virtually any plant layout.
  • Versatility
Three configurations to suit a variety of dust collection applications.
  • Broad Range
Offering maximum air handling capacity in a compact design, the Dust collectors offers filtration media area from 40 to 750 square feet.
  • Quiet & Efficient Operation
Motors and fan are enclosed in collector housing to minimize noise.
  • Easy Maintenance

ΩPulsejet Dust Collector

Our Large Filter Dust Collectors collect dust using fabric dust bags and most applications are one of the most efficient and cost effective dust collector models. In these dust collectors, the dust filled air passes through fabric bags that filter the dust particles. The filter surface area required to collect the dust depends on the amount of dust and the type of dust being collected.
To clean the filter, a quick burst of compressed air is shot through the filter media in the opposite direction of the dusty air. During normal dust collection, dusty air flows through the filter, and a solid layer of dust forms on the filter surface. A quick burst of air is shot through the filter using a pulse jet mechanism in the opposite direction which knocks the dust off the filter.

Ω Reverse Pulsejet Dust Collector

Our Baghouse Dust Collectors can be used for a variety of applications while providing dependable, long life-cycle, maintenance free performance. These are some of the most efficient and cost effective dust collector models for capturing heavy dust quantities such as from bin venting and for applications like product reclamation.
In Baghouse Dust Collectors, the dust filled air stream passes through fabric bags that filter the dust particles. High-pressure cleaning air is also blown periodically in the reverse or opposite direction of the dust-laden stream, to clean the dust cake that would form on the filter surface. This system known as a reverse pulse jet system is continuous or online. In these dust collectors, cleaning will be done continuously without interrupting the process.

Venturi Scrubber

Designed to suit any process gas requiring particulate removal, the AS India (INC)’s Venturi scrubber's classic single venturi design offers maximum scrubber efficiency through the simple four stage unit.

Operation
The design of AS India (INC)’s Venturi Scrubber consists of a "wet approach" venturi followed by a liquid entrainment separator. Dust laden gases enter the venturi and instantly make contact with the tangentially introduced scrubbing liquid swirling down the venturi's converging walls.
At the venturi throat, the gas and liquid streams collide and the liquid breaks down into droplets which trap dust particles. This gas/liquid mixture passes through a flooded elbow, and enters the entrainment separator through a tangential inlet. Centrifugal action removes the heavy wetted particles from the gas stream. As an alternate, when very large diameter separators are required, the liquid is separated by passing the stream through a chevron-type mist eliminator baffle.
The dust/liquid mixture is discharged from the separator bottom drain and the cleaned gas leaves through the top of the separator.

Features

  • Up to 99%+ collection efficiency into submicron range
  • Pressure drops from 2.5 - 15 kPa (10 - 60 in. w.g.)
  • Adjustable venturi throat (manual or automatic)
  • Liquid distribution by open pipes rather than nozzles
  • Slurries with high solids can be recycled
  • Handles high inlet gas temperatures
  • No wet/dry line buildup
  • Virtually maintenance free

Ω Cyclone Filter Dust Collector

High Efficiency Centrifugal Particulate Separators
These high efficiency cyclones are frequently used as product receivers, as precleaners to high efficiency
fabric- type dust collectors, or as independent collectors for coarse dusts.

Advantages

  • Stable pressure drop for a given gas flow
  • Constant efficiency for a given particulate condition
  • No moving parts; no replaceable filters
  • Ability to handle extremely high dust concentration
  • High temperature capability

Efficiency

On industrial coarse particulate, Cyclones are 95% to 98% efficient. Efficiency is a function of the physical parameters of the application and the design parameters of the cyclone. Cyclone efficiency increases with:
Coarse particle size distribution
Higher product specific gravity
Lower gas density
A decrease in cyclone diameter (two smaller cyclones in parallel will have a higher efficiency than one larger cyclone with an equal pressure drop)
Smaller outlet diameter. An increase in pressure drop also results.
Efficiency and pressure drops are also affected by barrel length, outlet length, inlet configuration, and design of the internal cone. These factors are optimized to result in the maximum possible efficiency at a practical overall size and pressure drop.

Options

The cyclone optional components include discharge hopper, scroll outlet and steel support legs. Common hoppers and scroll outlets are available for multiple cyclone configurations.
